THERMOS CRUISE  2012 (Feb 25 & 26)

Thermos Cruise this year is February 25 & 26, only one month from now.  The plan is to head over to Gibsons Marina around mid-day Saturday, enjoy the sights, go out for dinner at Leo’s (a Greek restaurant a couple blocks from the marina), and head back to EHYC some time Sunday.
Gibsons Marina is unique in that their check-out time is not until 2:00 PM (and that is flexible when they are not busy) so you get to enjoy Sunday there, if you wish.  Winter rates still apply, so both the marina and restaurant costs are very reasonable.  The town is a wonderful place to wander with waterfront trails, beaches near by, lots of shops, and more.
There is a limited amount of available space at the marina, as some of the transient spaces are used for winter moorage this time of year, so we must book early.  Unfortunately we cannot block book space this year, so it is important that you book your slip early, by calling Gibsons Marina at 604-886-8686 and mention you are with EHYC.  Even if you are not 100% sure, book a spot as there is no booking fee and you are not penalized for cancelling - though it is important that you let them know if you later find you cannot make it.
